HETALIAxAMNESIA: SCREAMING EVERYWHERE. Part 4

I slammed the door behind us and fell against it.

Arthur sighed in relief. "We're safe…"

But I knew better. "Arthur, we should -"

Suddenly a hand-claw smashed a hole through the door right above my head. "RUN!!!"

We ran down the hall. There were, of course, more doors. I stopped by one of them and pushed. Thank god it was open.

With the door quietly closed behind us and lantern off, Arthur and I sat against the wall next to it and waited. We could hear the door to the hallway being brutally smashed to pieces. Matthew began to whimper.

As I tried to calm him down, we heard the monster coming closer, wheezing as if it couldn't breathe. This only made Matthew cry louder. Having no choice, I covered his face with my hand.

It got darker as the monster stood in front of the door to our room. Arthur took my hand into his and squeezed. It would have been nice if we weren't scared for our lives.

After a couple minutes, the monster slowly moved down the hall to who knows what. When it was completely silent, we both let out a long sigh. I guess we both held our breaths.

Arthur turned on the lantern and we both got up. Suddenly, Matthew began to squirm in my hand. I looked at him only to find that my hand was still on his face. I quickly moved my hand as he gasped for air.

I smiled apologetically. "Sorry about that Matthew."

He nodded in acknowledgement.

We looked around. It looked just like the room we were just in except there was a closet this time.

I glared at the closet. "I am not opening that."

Arthur ran a hand through his hair. "I guess it's my turn then." He handed me the lamp and walked up to the closet.

I bit my lip. "Be careful…"

He nodded, took a deep breath, and opened the closet.

Suddenly a body shot out and knocked him to the floor.

Matthew and I both screamed. "TELEPORTING NAKED GUYS!!!"

Arthur pushed the body off him and quickly backed up. I heard a grunt as the body rolled over.

Wait. Teleporting naked guys don't grunt…

I slowly walked over to the body and held the lantern above it. This guy wasn't naked at all. He was fully dressed. And breathing…

I knelt down, carefully placed Matthew on the floor, and looked at his face.

He had tan skin and short brown hair and was wearing a brown uniform that reminded me somewhat of Arthur's. I wondered if Arthur knew him.

The guy suddenly stirred and his eyes fluttered open. His eyes were a bright shade of green.

"¿Qué pasó?"

Was that Spanish???

He sat up and looked at me. "¿Dónde estoy?"

I scratched the back of my head. "Uh…I don't know what you're saying…"

He stared at me for a couple seconds then laughed. "Lo siento! Oh, uh, sorry! I was asking where I am. This place is so creepy looking…"

Arthur got up and walked over to us. "Antonio?"

Antonio looked up at him. "Arthur? Oh hey! It's great to see a familiar face!"

He quickly turned to me. "Not that it wasn't lovely to see your face also miss~"

He turned back to Arthur. "Are we in one of those creepy castles in England? How did I get here? You guys didn't kidnap me, did you? Did you kidnap anybody else? Am I some kind of sacrifice for your black magic stuff? I sure hope not-"

Arthur facepalmed. "LOOK. This is not my castle, I don't know how you got here, no we did not kidnap you or anybody else, and I DO NOT SACRIFICE PEOPLE FOR BLACK MAGIC. All we know is that I opened that closet over there and you popped out!"

Antonio looked at the closet then back at us. "…So who's she?"

Arthur sighed. "This is _____." He then proceeded to give Antonio a recap of everything that's happened in the past couple hours.

After he was done, Antonio nodded. "I remember what happened to me now. I was on my way to visit Lovi and Feliciano with a basket of tomatoes and took a shortcut through this weird forest that I've never seen before and while I was walking, this purple mist appeared and I suddenly fell in a hole or something and then I hit something and I guess that was you…"

Antonio's eyes wandered to Matthew. "Hey, what's that?"

I picked him up. "This is Matthew."

Antonio's face went blank. "Who?"

I stared at him. "Matthew…Alfred and Arthur's little brother…Arthur just explained that he was turned into a statue and all a couple minutes ago…"

His face lit up. "Oh! I remember now! Right right, hello Matthew! Must be nice being carried around, huh?" He winked.

"U-Uh…"

Arthur shook his head. "We don't have time for this! We need to keep moving."

He took the lantern from me and headed for the door. Antonio and I got up and followed.

"Ok," Arthur whispered, "We have to move quietly so the monster doesn't hear us. But if he does happen to see us, well…RUN FOR YOUR BLOODY LIFE. Got it?"

Antonio and I both shakily nodded our heads.

Arthur opened the door as quietly as he could and stepped out into the hallway. He looked both ways then beckoned for us to come out.

Once we were out in the hallway, Arthur began walking towards the way we came from. I quickly grabbed the back of his collar.

"Arthur! We're supposed to be going the other way!"

He turned around. "R-Right…I knew that…"

The three of us walked on for a couple minutes until the lantern suddenly went out.

"OF ALL THE-"

"¡Ay no! I can't see!"

"We forgot to look for more oil! Where are you guys?"

"Over here!"

"It's so dark-"

All of sudden, the warning sound went off.

"AH, WHAT IS THAT NOISE?"

"RUN!!!"

"I CAN'T SEE!!!"

I blindly waved a hand in front of me trying to find something, but all I felt was air. I started to shake. "Help! Where are you guys?!"

A hand grabbed my wrist. It was Antonio. "Come on chica! We have to get out of here!"

I heard a sharp clang. Matthew had fallen out of my hand.

"Matthew!!!"

"____!"

I frantically tried to drop to the floor to search for him, but Antonio was pulling me away.

"What are you doing? It's not safe here!"

"But Matthew-!"

"There's no time!"

The monster's wheezing came closer.

"Wait…"

Did I just hear…?

There was a crash and the sound of glass scattering everywhere.

I heard a door open as I was quickly pulled into a room.

Antonio pulled me through the dark and then onto the floor next to what felt like a bed. I brought my face down to my hands and shook.

Antonio seemed to hear me and pulled me into a hug, trying to comfort me.

After what seemed like forever, I sighed and sat up. "Thanks Antonio…"

He released me and backed up a bit. "No problem."

After my eyes fully adjusted to the darkness, I looked at him.

"You think it's safe to go back out?" I whispered.

He shrugged. "I don't hear anything."

I lowered my head. "I hope Arthur and Matthew are alright…"

Antonio got up and pulled me with him. "Only one way to find out."
We walked around a bit trying to find the door, but just kept bumping into things.

After bumping into a desk for what seemed like 10 times already, I gave a frustrated sigh. "Wasn't the door over here somewhere?"

"I don't know," Antonio said, "I can't tell where I'm going."

I turned away from the desk and walked the opposite direction.

"____! Where did you go? We have to stay together!"

"Calm down, I'm over-"
I suddenly bumped into something...warm…

"What the-"

I then heard the two loudest and girliest shrieks I've ever heard in my life.
